Dear Panhellenic Sisters,

As I sit down to write this, I am filled with gratitude and awe for the incredible community that each of you has helped build. Our Panhellenic community at the University of Kentucky is large, diverse, and full of women who embody the core values that make us stronger together: supportive, strong, and selfless.

When I think about what it means to lead this community, I am reminded daily of the amazing women who make up this sisterhood. Each of you, in your own unique way, lives out these values and brings them to life through your actions, words, and service. It is through your unwavering support for one another, your commitment to lifting each other up, and your selflessness in serving others that our Panhellenic experience becomes something extraordinary.

Supportive – You are the women who show up for each other. You listen when someone needs to talk, you offer help when someone is struggling, and you celebrate every victory – big and small. This support is the foundation of our community. It’s what allows us to grow, to learn, and to succeed together. In times of challenge, it’s the support of your sisters that gives you strength. In moments of triumph, it’s their joy for you that amplifies your own. You are the heart of this Panhellenic, and I am constantly inspired by the love and encouragement you show one another.

Strong – Our strength comes not only from the individuals who make up our chapters, but from the unity we create as a whole. You are strong in your individuality, your passions, and your pursuits, but even more powerful when we come together as one. You are women who rise up in the face of adversity, who persevere through challenges, and who stand tall as leaders in our community and beyond. Together, we create a collective strength that makes us unstoppable. It is because of this strength that we can take on any challenge, knowing we will overcome it – as a sisterhood.

Selfless – The true beauty of Panhellenic is how we show up for others, not for personal gain, but because we care. You selflessly serve your sisters, your communities, and your campuses. Whether it’s volunteering your time for philanthropic causes, mentoring younger members, or simply offering a kind word when someone needs it most – your actions speak volumes about your character. This selflessness is what makes our community so special, and it is through this generosity that we make a lasting impact on each other and the world around us.

As your Panhellenic President, it is an honor to lead such a passionate and dedicated group of women. You inspire me every day with your commitment to these values, and it is because of you that our community continues to grow and thrive. I am in awe of the way you all balance the many demands of academics, leadership, and sisterhood, all while remaining rooted in the values that make us who we are.

As we continue to grow and evolve as a community, I encourage each of you to reflect on these values of supportive, strong, and selfless. Let them guide you as you lead, serve, and connect with your sisters. Together, we are not just a collection of chapters – we are a powerful, united sisterhood that makes a difference, not only at the University of Kentucky but in the world.

Thank you for all that you do, for the love you give, and for the strength you show. It is an honor to serve as your president, and I am so excited to see all of the incredible things we will continue to accomplish together.
