A Word From Our President
Dear Panhellenic,
Kappa Kappa Gamma is more than just a sorority; it is a sisterhood that empowers women to learn, grow, and inspire, guided by our motto: dream boldly, live fully. Rooted in our core values: sisterhood, truth, connection, respect, optimism, knowledge, and trailblazing, we strive to make a meaningful impact on ourselves and those around us, both during our college years and beyond.
Choosing to become a sister of Kappa Kappa Gamma has been one of the most meaningful decisions of my college experience. This sisterhood has shaped me in ways I never expected, and I am continually inspired by the incredible women who make up our chapter. From aspiring doctors and entrepreneurs to talented artists and leaders, each member brings something unique to our community, creating a bond that is both diverse and deeply connected.
College is an exciting yet sometimes overwhelming journey, and being part of a sorority has given me a profound sense of purpose and belonging. In Kappa, I found not just a group of friends but a true home away from home. We take pride in our commitment to academic excellence, philanthropy, and leadership, all while creating lifelong memories through meaningful and unforgettable experiences.
These four years may pass in the blink of an eye, but the friendships and bonds we create in Kappa last a lifetime. It’s surreal to think that just a few years ago, I was a potential new member, unsure of where this journey would lead. Now, I have the extraordinary honor of serving as Kappa’s Chapter President. In this role, my greatest hope is that when you walk across the graduation stage, you leave not only with a degree but also with invaluable experiences, a sisterhood, and future bridesmaids who will stand by you through every chapter of life.
With that, I encourage you to explore all that Kappa Kappa Gamma and the Panhellenic community have to offer. My time within Panhellenic has profoundly shaped my college experience, and I hope you, too, find a place that feels like your home away from home.
With Love & Loyalty,
Mia Zakharia
Chapter President, Kappa Kappa Gamma
