"We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character, inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life"

A Letter from Our President, Katie Custer

Welcome to University of Kentucky's Panhellenic website! Throughout my years at this university, I have had the wonderful opportunity to be a member of the Panhellenic community. Now, I am serving as the Panhellenic President after working with the executive board for the past year!

Our Panhellenic community is comprised of over 3,600 women among 15 organizations, each uniquely shaped by their own values. We believe in empowering each Panhellenic woman to make a difference in her chapter, Greek community, and at the University of Kentucky. Our women demonstrate all that it means to be a successful collegian and a Panhellenic woman- they are intelligent, kind, generous and fun. They excel academically, find lifelong sisterhood and enhance their undergraduate experiences. We hope to inspire these same positive experiences throughout our campus by offering opportunities in education, service, philanthropy and leadership.

When coming to the University of Kentucky as a freshman, I was overwhelmed with the size of the campus. But after going through primary recruitment, I was able to find at least one other girl who shared my letters to sit with in class, to help this large campus feel just a little bit smaller. Now, as a junior in college, I still can find at least one person I know to sit with, in every class or extracurricular. Panhellenic has given me a community of women who inspire me and have made the University of Kentucky truly feel like home.

I hope that our website can give you information that will help you also feel like this community has a place for you. If there is any information you cannot find on our website, please feel free to reach out to members of the UK Panhellenic Executive Council or the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office.

Go Wildcats!

Katie Custer, Panhellenic President
