A Word From Our President

Dear Panhellenic Community,

Alpha Chi Omega isn’t just a sorority—it’s a sisterhood of women who show up for each other in every season of life. It’s late-night study sessions, laughter-filled coffee runs, and the little moments that turn into the best memories. It’s a place where you’re celebrated for exactly who you are and encouraged to grow into the best version of yourself.

Our chapter is full of passionate, driven women who are deeply committed—not just to their own success, but to lifting others up alongside them. Whether it’s excelling in academics, stepping into leadership roles, or making a difference through our national philanthropy, Domestic Violence Awareness, we are all connected by a shared desire to empower and support one another.

Serving as President of the Delta Omega chapter has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my college journey. From the start, I felt the impact of this sisterhood. It’s in the big moments, like watching my sisters step into leadership, and the small ones, like heartfelt sister shoutouts at chapter— little reminders of how much we mean to each other. The women around me lead with confidence and kindness, always pushing me to grow in ways I never expected. From encouraging conversations to small acts of kindness, their support is everywhere.

But the greatest gift Alpha Chi Omega has given me is friendship, the kind that lasts long after college ends. The kind you never have to question, because sisterhood means always having someone in your corner. Some of my favorite memories come from the simplest moments—like the night I was overwhelmed with school, and my sisters showed up with snacks, music, and no agenda except to make me laugh. At that moment, I realized Alpha Chi Omega wasn’t just my sorority—it was home.

At its core, this chapter is about real, strong women—the ones who stand by you, who celebrate your victories like they’re their own, and who remind you of your strength even on the days you don’t see it yourself. That is what makes Alpha Chi Omega so special and why I’m honored to serve as President—to give back to the sisterhood that has given me so much.

Loyally,
Emily Lancaster
